Membership

IMPak will accommodate Organization memberships or Individual memberships, or a combination of both.

IMPak uses Dues Categories or member types to identify members and prospects in the same file. Converting a prospect to a member (and vice-versa) is as easy as adding a billing record. Dues categories are "user defined"; therefore, your organization can offer an unlimited number of categories for memberships. These categories are selected via a drop down list that your staff maintains.

Monies for mailings (journals, newsletters, etc.) attached to a membership record can be put into a deferred revenue account and amortized for the length of the membership period, or can be put directly into income. Mailings can be attached to dues categories so that membership invoices can identify mailings (e-mails) that are part of the membership while showing one membership amount due, or the amounts can be identified separately.

IMPak can invoice members biennially, annually, semi-annually, quarterly, tri-annually or on a monthly basis for an amount determined by their dues category and sub category or you can "override" the calculated amount with an amount you choose. The system can store formulas for each member type and will process invoices for the correct amount based on those formulas.

The membership billing record determines the billing cycle and frequency and staff can "override" the set amount for that membership type in case of special circumstances. IMPak can bill for chapter dues (one or more) and special interest groups (one or more) dues as well. IMPak can also invoice chapters for national and chapter dues and remit money back to the chapter.

Affiliate codes allow situations where, in addition to paying dues to the membership organization, the members may pay additional dues to belong to an affiliated organization, foundation or a special club.

IMPak generates invoices according to the next billing date in the membership billing record. The membership expiration date is updated when the invoice is paid in full. Pledges or contributions can be printed on the invoice, but not required as full payment.

IMPak can accommodate Paid by dues billing. The system creates the invoice with the payer's identification number and identifies the organization or individual it is covering.

IMPak can accommodate parent/child/branch company relationships in any combination. Parent companies can be billed for their child/branch companies.

Dues and subscriptions can be amortized over the period of the membership. Journal entries are automatically generated each month transferring monies received from the deferred revenue account to the appropriate dues income account in the appropriate increments.

IMPak maintains financial and data histories for individuals and organizations. These histories include all invoices, payments and adjustments; dues payment histories, increases and decreases; data change histories for many changes to the member records; and activity histories for all committee assignments, meetings attended, products purchased, etc. IMPak also maintains a Contributions History, which includes PAC monies, and any contribution funds you wish to track. With this history, IMPak can print State and Federal PAC reports or file electronically.

You can view all activity for all individuals attached to an organization from the organization record.

Track sister or outside affiliations or memberships for individuals and organizations.

Generate on-line statistics for member/non-member counts.

Upload and import an outside list of e-mail addresses. The user can then send a blast e-mail to these addresses and create an e-mail history.

• Documents (CV, bio, etc.) for organizations, individuals, awards, committees, speakers, meetings, hotels and events
• Logos for Organizations and pictures for Individuals; display on staff and/or member/non member pages
• History of participation (items purchased, meetings attended, committee & chapter participation, etc.)
• Products and Services and categories/sub categories of the products/services for organizations
• Identify an organization as a Program Provider for other organizations or individuals in your database
• AKAs or DBAs for organizations
