While 90% of the IMPak product will generally fit the needs of our clients, there may be instances when the system will require some sort of modification or customization. ISSI's clients reap the benefits of dedicated programmers that have extensive experience making customizations to our software.
Prior to the implementation process, we work with our clients to determine if the software requires customizations. Once we have clearly identified potential customizations to the software, we will provide an upfront cost analysis outlining potential customizations or modifications. This process is typically done during the sales process and then again during the design meeting.
Our goal is always to keep the cost down for each of our clients. Once a client goes live within the IMPak system they always have the ability to request additional customizations. Our process begins with reviewing the requested customization. At that time, we may determine that the functionality already exists within the system. If we determine that the software will require some sort of customization, we will provide a cost analysis prior to starting the project.
While most of our clients depend upon ISSI to do their customizations or modifications, we do have some clients who are technology savvy and will customize the system without getting ISSI involved. Because ISSI offers the source code with the purchase of the license, organizations have the ability to make their own customizations to the software. Best of all, ISSI will support those customizations!
